Kyphoplasty is a well-established method to treat symptomatic vertebral compression fractures. Reported local cement leakage rates are high, but clinically relevant leakages are rare. A fatal complication is the extravasation of cement to the venous system with cardiopulmonary manifestation. We report a case with right ventricular perforation caused by leaked cement fragments. ().
