Objective: The aim: The aim of the study is to investigate and describe eponymous terms of angioarchitectonics of the human head and to determine their features and possibilities of their functioning in modern medical terminology.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: The work uses general philosophical and general scientific research methods: dialectical, historical-chronological, bibliographic-descriptive, analytical, etc. This bibliographic analysis is based on published peer-reviewed articles, books, textbooks, monographs. The search period covered the period from 2010 to 2021.
Conclusion: Conclusions: The study of eponymous terms contributes to the disclosure of the evolution of clinical disciplines, the diagnostic process of thinking, as well as the formation of terminological competence in applicants for higher medical education, their mastery of the language of the specialty.

Eponyms are widely used in the field of orthopedic surgery, including for surgical instruments. Although their use is at times controversial, an appreciation of the history behind eponymous terms allows one to both recognize the shortcomings of the past and simultaneously be inspired by ingenious inventors. The primary purpose of this review is to provide a historical perspective of clamps and forceps commonly used in orthopedic surgery, to better appreciate the evolution of their use over time, and to inspire innovation to constantly improve upon surgical instrumentation as the field of orthopedic surgery advances.

While arguments have been made both for and against the value of anatomical eponyms, limited research exists regarding their use by anatomists. As the editors of the principal international anatomy journals have purview and control of terminology in anatomical journals, their perceptions regarding the relevance, ethics and inclusivity of eponym use in anatomy and in publishing in anatomical journals were investigated. A validated, confidential and anonymized self-administered questionnaire which included open-ended questions was distributed to the 22 Editor-in-Chiefs/Senior Editors of anatomical journals.
