Acne vulgaris is a globally prevalent dermatological condition associated with substantial physical and psychological burden. Although acne typically presents during adolescence, it is a chronic condition that also affects many adults. Despite the spectrum of treatments available for acne, limitations in tolerability and safety concerns can present challenges for the use of conventional medications in clinical practice.

Background: Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction (TIMI) risk score in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) is associated with major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE). This study aimed to develop a prediction model based on the TIMI risk score for MACE in STEMI patients after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
Methods: We conducted a retrospective data analysis on 290 acute STEMI patients admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Yangzhou University from January 2022 to June 2023 and met the inclusion criteria.

Introduction: Musculocontractural Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (mcEDS) is a rare autosomal recessive connective tissue disorder caused by systemic depletion of dermatan sulfate. Symptoms characteristic of mcEDS include multiple contractures, fragile skin with subcutaneous bleeding, and hypermobile joints, which suggest difficulty in perioperative management. However, safe surgical techniques and perioperative management of this disorder remain unknown because of its rarity.

Methods: All hospital patients in The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from 2019 to 2021 who meet ≥4 ACR-97 SLE criteria were identified. Patients with infection and without infection were included with a ratio of 1:2.
