RMND1 (Required for Meiotic Nuclear Division 1 homolog) is a nuclear encoded mitochondrial protein. Biallelic variants inRMND1are described in patients with white matter encephalopathy, hearing loss and renal dysfunction. In addition to this phenotype, two independent families (3 patients) have been reported with ovarian failure. We report on a 17-year-old girl with RMND1 related mitochondrial disorder including white matter encephalopathy, hearing loss and renal insufficiency who presented primary ovarian insufficiency in whom a homozygous variant c.713 A > G (p.Asn238Ser) in the RMND1 gene was found. We report the fourth patient with RMND1 biallelic pathogenic variants and primary ovarian insufficiency.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate and compare the clinicopathologic features of primary fallopian tubal carcinoma (PFTC) and high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) and explore the prognostic factors of these two malignant tumors.
Methods: Fifty-seven patients diagnosed with PFTC from 2006 to 2015 and 60 patients diagnosed with HGSOC from 2014 to 2015 with complete prognostic information were identified at Women's Hospital of Zhejiang University. The clinicopathological and surgical data were collected, and the survival of the patients was followed for 5 years after surgery.

Purpose: This study is to evaluate duration of oocyte cryostorage and association with thaw survival, fertilization, blastulation, ploidy rates, and pregnancy outcomes in patients seeking fertility preservation.
Methods: Retrospective cohort study to evaluate clinical outcomes in patients who underwent fertility preservation from 2011 to 2023 via oocyte vitrification for non-oncologic indications. Primary outcome was thaw survival rate.

Purpose: Preimplantation aneuploidy in humans is one of the primary causes of implantation failure and embryo miscarriage. This study was conducted to gain insight into gene expression changes that may result from aneuploidy in blastocysts through RNA-Seq analysis.
Methods: The surplus embryos of preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) candidate couples with normal karyotype and maternal age < 38 were collected following identical ovarian stimulation protocol.

Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) in the tumor microenvironment are prognostically beneficial in many solid cancer types. Reports on TLS in high-grade serous tubo-ovarian carcinoma (HGSC) are few, and the prognostic impact is unclear. We investigated mature TLS (mTLS), immature TLS (iTLS) and lymphoid aggregates (LA) in primary adnexal tumors (PTs) and synchronous omental/peritoneal metastases (pMets) of HGSC.

Background: Estrogens, such as 17β-estradiol, are the primary female sex hormones predominantly synthesized by mature ovarian follicular cells. The natural exhaustion of ovarian follicular cells during menopause causes a rapid decline in endogenous estrogen levels. This decline in estrogen levels is associated with an increase in chronic, age-related pathologies, including inflammation in the brain.
