Introduction: Ependymomas are more common in the pediatric population, in whom they are commonly infratentorial. Extra axial location of a supratentorial ependymoma is extremely rare.
Diagnosis: Radiologically these tumors are often misdiagnosed as meningioma or other extra axial lesions owing to their unusual location and lack of any pathognomonic features. Hence, histopathological examination becomes imperative for proper evaluation and an adequate diagnosis.
Case: Herein we report a case of a supratentorial extra axial anaplastic ependymoma misdiagnosed as a metastatic tumor on radiological examination and mimicking meningioma intra operatively, located in the frontal and temporal region in a 20 year old man.

Calcified chronic subdural hematoma (CCSDH) is a rare condition characterized by the accumulation of calcified blood between the dura mater and arachnoid membrane, typically following remote trauma. These lesions often present as space-occupying, extra-axial masses over the cerebral convexity and can mimic extra-axial tumors, such as calcified meningiomas. A 73-year-old male with a history of prostate cancer, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia presented with vision changes and mild papilledema.

Purpose: While glioblastoma is the most common malignant brain tumor in adults, extracerebral manifestations are very rare in this highly aggressive disease with poor prognosis.
Methods: We conducted a systematic literature review in the PubMed database and complemented the data by inclusion of a case treated in our clinic. In this context, we report on a 60-year-old woman with a right frontal glioblastoma, IDH wildtype, MGMT methylated.

A boy in his middle childhood presented with a gradually enlarging, mildly tender swelling in the left frontal region, noticed after minor trauma. Skull radiograph and non-enhanced CT revealed a diffuse sclerotic lesion involving the left frontal bone and overlying subcutaneous soft tissue, suggestive of an intraosseous haemangioma. Contrast-enhanced MRI showed an expansile, hypointense lesion in the frontal bone on the left side with enhancing extraosseous components and a small extra-axial cyst.

Objectives: Well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors (NET) are highly vascular tumors characterized by their expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). This trial investigated the activity of ramucirumab, a monoclonal antibody that targets VEGF receptor-2 (VEGFR-2) and inhibits activity of VEGF, in combination with somatostatin analog therapy in patients (pts) with advanced extra-pancreatic NET.
Methods: We conducted a single-arm phase II trial enrolling pts with advanced, progressive extra-pancreatic NET.

Aim: To develop good practice recommendations (GPR) for the therapeutic management of patients with spondyloarthritis (SpA), including psoriatic arthritis.
Methods: Following standardised procedures, a systematic review of the literature was carried out on non-pharmacological and non-biological pharmacological treatments for SpA. The review was based on questions defined by a working group of 15 rheumatologists.
