The magnetocaloriceffect is considered as an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technique which can take cooling technology to the next level. Apart from its commercial application at room temperature, magnetic refrigeration is an up-and-coming solution for the cryogenic regime, especially as an alternative to He systems. Molecular magnets reveal advantageous features for ultra-low cooling which are competitive with intermetallic and lanthanide alloys. Here, we present a guide to the current status of magnetocaloric effect research of molecular magnets with a theoretical background focused on the inverse magnetocaloric effect and an overview of recent results and developments, including the rotating magnetocaloric effect.

Objectives: Detection of fat content in thymic lesions is essential to differentiate thymic hyperplasia from thymic tumors. This study assesses the reliability and efficacy of "iterative decomposition of water and fat with echo asymmetry and least-squares estimation quantization" IDEAL-IQ magnetic resonance sequence in distinguishing thymic hyperplasia from low-risk thymoma and thymic lymphoma in adulthood.
Methods: Thirty patients with thymic hyperplasia, 28 low-risk thymomas, and 13 thymic lymphomas were respectively enrolled.

We explore the role of molecular vibrations in the chirality-induced spin selectivity (CISS) effect in the context of charge transport through a molecular nanojunction. We employ a mixed quantum-classical approach that combines Ehrenfest dynamics for molecular vibrations with the hierarchical equations of motion method for the electronic degrees of freedom. This approach treats the molecular vibrations in a nonequilibrium manner, which is crucial for the dynamics of molecular nanojunctions.

Background: High-quality assessment of prostate MRI is fundamental in both clinical practice and screening. There is a lack of national level data on variability in prostate volume measurement and PI-RADS assessment. Methods of quality assurance need to be developed.

In this paper, we present a facile yet effective method for the fabrication of core-shell nanoparticles (NPs) of magnetite (FeO) and polydopamine (FeO@PDA) and their decoration with a tunable amount of gold NPs (AuNPs). For this, FeO NPs were fabricated through the polyol method and AuNPs were deposited onto FeO@PDA via anchoring of as-prepared citrate-stabilized AuNPs or reduction of Au ions. PDA with its numerous catechol groups enabled the decoration of AuNPs in a well-controlled manner.

Fibroblast activation protein (FAP) is a key molecule in the field of oncology, with significant impacts on tumor diagnosis and treatment. Importantly, it has paved the way for the development of radiotracers for quinoline-based FAP inhibitors (FAPIs), which are currently among the most promising radiotracers for PET imaging in cancer. We performed a bibliometric analysis of scientific publications related to FAP and FAPI-based radiotracers, which included the quantification and visualization of current research trends and prospects based on various bibliometric indicators.
