is a fungus with promising biocontrol applications. Here, transcriptome data acquired during the infection of by showed that the transcription of metabolite synthesis genes was significantly up-regulated after 24 and 48 h of the fungus-nematode interaction. Then, the up-regulated transcription level of lipoxygenase was confirmed by RT-qPCR. The ultra-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS) analysis of differential metabolites revealed that this interaction resulted in the emergence of new metabolites or enhanced the production of metabolites. The results of the UPLC-MS analysis and the nematicidal assay were used to establish optimal culturing conditions under which 12 metabolites, including 3 hydroxylated C fatty acids and 9 steroids, were isolated and identified. Among them, hydroxylated fatty acids showed pronounced nematicidal activity against , and two degradative sterols showed chemotaxis activity to . This study lays a foundation for the function of lipoxygenase and its products during the infection of .

Objective: This study aimed to qualitatively study the main chemical components of apple peel in APORT, Kazakhstan, by ultra-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS) and to compare the components of apple peels with different provenances.
Methods: An ACQUITY UPLC HSS T3 (100 mm × 2.1 mm, 1.

Background: Wastewater systems are usually considered antibiotic resistance hubs connecting human society and the natural environment. Antibiotic usage can increase the abundance of both ARGs (antibiotic resistance genes) and MGEs (mobile gene elements). Understanding the transcriptomic profiles of ARGs and MGEs remains a major research goal.

Urinary proteomics is emerging as a potent tool for detecting sensitive and non-invasive biomarkers. At present, the comparability of urinary proteomics data across diverse liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) platforms remains an area that requires investigation. In this study, we conduct a comprehensive evaluation of urinary proteome across multiple LC-MS platforms.

Neuropathic pain (NP) is a chronic disease state centred on neuroinflammation with a high prevalence and limited effective treatment options. Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α (PPARα) has emerged as a promising target for NP management due to its anti-inflammatory properties. Recent evidence highlights the critical role of the gut microbiome and its metabolites in NP pathogenesis.
