Due to their complex microstructures, the research on the static and dynamic behaviors of triangular honeycomb sandwich panels (triangular HSPs) is limited. In this study, the effective plate properties of triangular HSP was obtained by the homogenizing of the unit cell, and then the input to a VAM-based two-dimensional equivalent plate model (2D-EPM) to perform static and dynamic analyses. The accuracy of the proposed model for predicting the equivalent stiffness of the triangular HSP was verified by three-point bending experiments of 3D-printed specimens. Then, the static displacement, global buckling, and free vibrations predicted by 2D-EPM were verified with the results from three-dimensional finite element model simulations under various boundary conditions. The influences of structural parameters (including angle, core wall thickness, and cell side length of the unit cell) on the static and dynamic characteristics of triangular HSPs were also investigated, which can provide a useful tool for the modeling and evaluation of triangular HSPs under different conditions.

Today, with the increasing use of the Internet of Things (IoT) in the world, various workflows that need to be stored and processed on the computing platforms. But this issue, causes an increase in costs for computing resources providers, and as a result, system Energy Consumption (EC) is also reduced. Therefore, this paper examines the workflow scheduling problem of IoT devices in the fog-cloud environment, where reducing the EC of the computing system and reducing the MakeSpan Time (MST) of workflows as main objectives, under the constraints of priority, deadline and reliability.

Vanadium dioxide ([Formula: see text]) is a favorable material platform of modern optoelectronics, since it manifests the reversible temperature-induced insulator-metal transition (IMT) with an abrupt and rapid changes in the conductivity and optical properties. It makes possible applications of such a phase-change material in the ultra-fast optoelectronics and terahertz (THz) technology. Despite the considerable interest to this material, data on its broadband electrodynamic response in different states are still missing in the literature.

: Brain tissue immersed in cerebrospinal fluid often exhibits complex mechanical behaviour, especially the nonlinear stress- strain and rate-dependent responses. Despite extensive research into its material properties, the impact of solution environments on the mechanical behaviour of brain tissue remains limited. This knowledge gap affects the biofidelity of head modelling.

Transmissibility is used to assess dynamic responses of the occupant-seat system, and most studies have exclusively assessed the transmissibility from the floor to the cushion or the backrest surface with the human body. In this investigation, the vertical vibration transmitted from the floor to six specific locations both on the seat surface and the frame when the seat was fixed on three positions on the track was examined utilizing an SAE J826 manikin and 12 male adults (0.25 to 20 Hz) for a duration of 120 seconds at three vibration amplitudes.

: The acute effects of static stretching (SS) on dynamic balance, a key fitness component that contributes to injury prevention, has been a subject of significant debate. This study aimed to investigate the acute effect of short-duration SS exercises on dynamic balance following different recovery durations in youth female volleyball players. : Thirteen volunteers U-14 female players were included.
