Ganglioneuroma is a benign tumor, originating from sympathetic nervous system. Intradural and dumbbell shape spinal ganglioneuroma has been reported in the literature. In this study, we intend to present our case, a 43-year-old man with multiple cutaneous dimples-probably a Neurofibromatosis type-1 (NF-1) case-and subacute myelopathy, who presented with bilateral symmetric dumbbell shape C2/C3 and C4/C5 intradural extramedullary tumors. After resection, the pathologic feature was revealed as ganglioneuroma. We also reviewed the literature for similar cases, which revealed our case to be the 9th bilateral and symmetrical spinal GN, all of which in cervical region; the 5th involving multiple level (the 3rd multiple bilateral symmetrical involvement), the 3rd extending intradurally, and the first case of involving all cervical nerve root ganglions in different sizes. Bilateral symmetrical spinal GNs have also appeared to have different body location, geographic, and gender distribution.

Hirayama disease, also known as non-progressive juvenile spinal muscular atrophy of the upper limbs, brachial monomelic amyotrophy, or benign focal atrophy, affects the C7 D1 myotomes; an electromyogram (EMG) shows neurogenic damage in the C7-C8-T1 territories. It causes weakness and amyotrophy of the distal upper limb. Although it usually occurs on one side only, bilateral symmetric cases of Hirayama disease have occasionally been described.

A female adolescent with no relevant past history was admitted to the Pediatric Emergency Department with two episodes of seizures without trauma, fever, or other symptoms. Head-MRI revealed bilateral subependymal nodular irregularities lining the lateral ventricles, with similar signal evolution to grey matter, confirming the diagnosis of periventricular nodular heterotopias (PVNH). Genetic testing revealed a Filamin A ( variant; family studies were negative.

Background: Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) is characterized by an asymmetrical formation of the spine and ribcage. Recent work provides evidence of asymmetrical (right versus left side) paraspinal muscle size, composition, and activation amplitude in adolescents with AIS. Each of these factors influences muscle force generation.

We report the 99mTc-MDP bone scan of a 44-year-old man with a history of lung adenocarcinoma and recent multiple joint pain after completing pembrolizumab immunotherapy treatment. This interesting image of symmetric uptakes around bilateral joints throughout the skeleton resembles the ball sensors on a motion capture suit. Hence, we recommend naming this distinctive imaging appearance as the "motion capture suit" sign.
