Introduction: More than 10% of the population worldwide is affected by chronic kidney disease (CKD). Despite many promising indications regarding the use of mHealth education for patients with CKD, there is still little evidence regarding the feasibility, effectiveness outcomes and outcome measures. Therefore, we will conduct a scoping review to examine the currently available evidence on mHealth education for patients with CKD and, thus, explore the existing evidence regarding feasibility, effectiveness outcomes and outcome measures, patient and/or provider perception and implementation challenges.
Methods And Analysis: A scoping review will be conducted in accordance with Joanna Briggs Institute Manual for Evidence Synthesis chapter on scoping reviews.MEDLINE, Embase, CINAHL and PsycINFO will be searched. The search strategy will consist of blocks, which have been adopted and modified from former Cochrane reviews. Two independent reviewers will screen studies. Characteristics of the included studies, both quantitative and qualitative, will be reported using quantitative descriptive statistics. Quantitative results will be grouped by objectives (feasibility, effectiveness outcomes and outcome measures, patient perception and implementation challenges), types of intervention and characteristics of participants. Qualitative results will be organised into categories using an iterative process, as suggested by Pollock ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION: As this scoping review does not involve primary data collection, ethical permission is unnecessary. Results of the scoping review will be published in an international peer-reviewed scientific journal.

Methyl CpG binding protein 2 (MeCP2) is a chromatin-associated protein that remains enigmatic despite more than 30 years of research, primarily due to the ever-growing list of its molecular functions, and, consequently, its related pathologies. Loss of function MECP2 mutations cause the neurodevelopmental disorder Rett syndrome (RTT); in addition, dysregulation of MeCP2 expression and/or function are involved in numerous other pathologies, but the mechanisms of MeCP2 regulation are unclear. Advancing technologies and burgeoning mechanistic theories assist our understanding of the complexity of MeCP2 but may inadvertently cloud it if not rigorously tested.

Background: Pain catastrophizing, or the interpretation of pain as unbearable or intolerable, can increase pain-related anxiety and severity. High levels of pain catastrophizing have also been linked to substance use, particularly for substances with analgesic properties. Importantly, behavioral treatments can reduce pain catastrophizing, making them promising interventions for mitigating pain-related substance use.

Wildlife trade can create adverse impacts for biodiversity and human health globally, including increased risks for zoonotic spillover that can lead to pandemics. Institutional responses to zoonotic threats posed by wildlife trade are diverse; understanding regulations governing wildlife trade is an important step for effective zoonotic spillover prevention measures. In this review, we focused on peer-reviewed studies and grey literature conducted on regulatory approaches that govern domestic and international wildlife trade in order to assess the role of local, national and global-level institutions in the prevention of zoonotic spillover and infection transmission between humans.

Patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) capture patients' views of their health status and the use of PROMs as part of standard care of children and young people has the potential to improve communication between patients/carers and clinicians and the quality of care. Electronic systems for the collection of or access to PROMs and integrating PROMs into electronic health records facilitates their implementation in routine care and could help maximise their value. Yet little is known about the technical aspects of implementation including the electronic systems available for collection and capture and how this may influence the value of PROMs in routine care which this scoping review aims to explore.
