This article describes the design and development of an upper-limb prosthesis for a current elite level paracyclist that was conceived for use in the 2020 Paralympic Games. The prosthetic limb was intended specifically for use in cycling time trial events. These are held on the road and in the velodrome whereby the athlete rides using a tucked aerodynamic position. The prosthesis was developed using computer aided design software and an extensive use of the 3D printed manufacturing process. The resulting technical note illustrates the design methodology and manufacturing considerations for a high performance form of assistive technology. However, it results in a solution that challenges the traditional aesthetic of prosthetic limbs intended for sport and physical activity.

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a complex and diverse group of malignancies. Invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC) is the predominant pathological subtype and is closely linked to the ominous potential for distant metastasis, a pivotal factor that significantly influences patient outcomes. In light of these considerations, the present study was conceived with the objective of developing a nomogram model.

Background: The possibility of future parenthood is a highly relevant issue for patients of reproductive age facing oncologic treatment. This study aimed to investigate how fatherhood was achieved in a patient cohort of adolescents and young adults (AYAs) banking semen at time of cancer diagnosis and to determine the effectiveness of cryopreservation aimed at fertility preservation in the cohort.
Materials And Methods: Observational cohort study examining AYAs with a cancer diagnosis who underwent semen banking for fertility preservation at Karolinska University Hospital 1988-2020, as part of the Stockholm regional fertility preservation program.

The current FDA paradigm may not fully capture important patient-centered outcomes or measure a primary outcome that is truly meaningful to patients. Patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) are standardized tools measuring the patient's experience in food allergy clinical trials, which can help support shared decision-making (SDM) and further our understanding of treatment impact. Food allergy PROMs include quality of life (QoL), health state utility (HSU), severity, and self-efficacy measures.

Study Question: To what extent can hypertensive disorders in pregnancy (HDP) explain the higher risk of preterm birth following frozen embryo transfer (frozen-ET) and fresh embryo transfer (fresh-ET) in ART compared with naturally conceived pregnancies?
Summary Answer: HDP did not contribute to the higher risk of preterm birth in pregnancies after fresh-ET but mediated 20.7% of the association between frozen-ET and preterm birth.
What Is Known Already: Risk of preterm birth is higher after ART compared to natural conception.

Objective: Cessation of gonadotropin stimulation might affect follicular growth in patients in POSEIDON groups 3 and 4, which are unresponsive to high-dose stimulation.
Materials And Methods: In this retrospective study, data were extracted from the medical records of patients treated at the Acıbadem Maslak Hospital Assisted Reproductive Technologies Unit between November 2010 and December 2020. Eighty-five patients who fulfilled the inclusion criteria were included in the study.
