This study examines the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental performance, utilizing data from 415 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in China as a case study. We found that CSR has a direct and significant impact on environmental performance (EP) and is positively correlated to environmental strategy (ES) and environmental outcomes (EO), both of which improve environmental performance, i.e., they serve as a significant mediating factor between CSR and environmental performance. Our study will help general managers and policy maker of SMEs, provides a beneficial model for managing CSR, ES, and EO to achieve sustainable environmental performance. Specifically, it can assist general managers of SMEs in strengthening their internal resources such as CSR, ES, and EO in order to improve long-term environmental performance.

Purpose: This project aimed to minimize medication errors and improve safe medication administration in an oncology setting in Muscat, Oman.
Methods: The study, spanning from the second quarter of 2022 to the first quarter of 2023, employed a one-group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design, assessing key performance indicators (medication error and medication administration errors rates per 1000 patient days) on quarterly basis before and after implementing targeted interventions. Interventions focused on medication management processes and Healthcare Informatics System (HIS), Environment and equipment, and Education The project utilized the FOCUS PDCA (find, organize, clarify, understand, select, plan, do, check and act) methodology.

All-solid-state batteries (ASSBs) are pursued due to their potential for better safety and high energy density. However, the energy density of the cathode for ASSBs does not seem to be satisfactory due to the low utilization of active materials (AMs) at high loading. With small amount of solid electrolyte (SE) powder in the cathode, poor electrochemical performance is often observed due to contact loss and non-homogeneous distribution of AMs and SEs, leading to high tortuosity and limitation of lithium and electron transport pathways.

Purpose Of Review: A major contributor to household air pollution (HAP) in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) is unclean cooking fuel. Improved cookstove technology (ICT) interventions have been promoted as a solution, but their impacts on health are unclear. Our aim is to conduct a systematic review to explore the impacts of ICT interventions on health outcomes in SSA.

Tick salivary proteins are crucial for efficient and successful tick feeding. Most of them are still uncharacterized, especially those involved in the formation of tick cement. Tick salivary protein PA107 is a putative cement protein, which is transcribed in salivary glands during the initial phase of tick feeding.

Membrane bioreactors (MBRs) have been widely used in the field of wastewater treatment because of their small footprint and high treatment efficiency. In this research, 10 rural wastewater treatment sites in China that employ the MBR process were systematically studied. Specifically, treatment of actual domestic wastewater using MBRs was examined by high-throughput 16S rRNA gene sequencing to explore the microbial community composition and perform function prediction.
