Background: In 2016, the Chinese government issued the Healthy China 2030 plan, which also produced the initiative practice for health (IPFH) concept. However, people's knowledge and awareness of the IPFH are unclear.

Aim: To investigate awareness of IPFH in the Chinese population and explore the relevant influential factors.

Methods: An internet-based self-designed questionnaire survey was used to collect respondents' demographic characteristics and awareness of health and the IPFH from March 26 to April 18, 2020. IPFH consciousness was assessed by the scores for different related questions. The Student's t test, the Chi-square test, and multiple logistic regression analysis were performed to analyze the differences and influencing factors.

Results: A total of 2678 valid questionnaires were collected. Of the respondents, 973 (36.3%) had heard of the IPFH concept. In addition, 89.5% of participants agreed with the view that the IPFH is beneficial to improving quality of life, and over half thought that a regular schedule, a reasonable diet, tobacco and alcohol control, a cheerful mood, specific life goals and plans, taking the initiative to accept health-related education and implement health knowledge, good interpersonal relationships, and regular physical examinations were closely related to the IPFH. The majority of respondents paid attention to their health and usually obtained health-related knowledge social media and were also willing to promote the IPFH. Most of the participants underestimated the role of hospitals, family doctors, and health managers in promoting the IPFH. Age, monthly income, and medical-related work experience were the influencing factors for IPFH awareness.

Conclusion: The Chinese population has limited knowledge of the IPFH. People with strong IPFH awareness are older, earn more, and have medical-related work experience.

Synthesis and Characterization of a Copper Dinitrogen Complex Supported by a Weakly Coordinating Anion.

Angew Chem Int Ed Engl

September 2024

Institut für Anorganische und Analytische Chemie and Freiburger Materialforschungszentrum (FMF), Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Albertstr. 21, 79104, Freiburg, Germany.

We report the synthesis and full characterization of the copper dinitrogen complex [(η-N)Cu{Al(OR)}] 2 (R=C(CF)) prepared by a cascade metathesis reaction of Ag[Al(OR)] with CuI-excess in iso-perfluorohexane (i-pfh) under N atmosphere. Title compound 2 features an extraordinarily high N stretching frequency at 2313/2314 cm (IR/Raman) and was characterized by single-crystal and powder X-ray diffractometry. Quantum chemical charge displacement analysis based on natural orbitals of chemical valence (CD-NOCV) indicates that the copper-dinitrogen interaction is still governed by weak π-backdonation, but is significantly reduced compared to all literature-known transition metal dinitrogen complexes.

Improvement of central vein ultrasound-guided puncture success using a homemade needle guide-a simulation study.

Crit Care

September 2023

Medical Intensive Care Unit, Hôpital Saint Antoine, Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris (APHP), Saint-Antoine University Hospital, Sorbonne University, 75012, Paris, France.

Background: Out-of-plane (OOP) approach is frequently used for ultrasound-guided insertion of central venous catheter (CVC) owing to its simplicity but does not avoid mechanical complication. In-plane (IP) approach might improve safety of insertion; however, it is less easy to master. We assessed, a homemade needle guide device aimed to improve CVC insertion using IP approach.

A Retrospective Analysis of Tear Film and Blink Parameters in Patients With Ocular Surface Disease.

Eye Contact Lens

June 2023

Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine (P.B.); and Department of Ophthalmology (S.K., S.G., C.S.B.), Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, IL.

Objectives: We had two objectives: (1) to investigate differences in tear film and blink parameters in patients with six ocular surface diseases (OSD): ocular graft versus host disease (oGVHD), Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS), lax eyelid syndrome, meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), obstructive sleep apnea, and dry eye disease; and (2) to characterize the relationships between lipid layer thickness (LLT), meiboscore, Schirmer I test, and three blink parameters: partial blink rate (PBR), interblink interval (IBI), and interpalpebral fissure height (IPFH) in this group of patients.

Methods: This is a single-site retrospective analysis of 228 patients (456 eyes) with six different primary OSD at Loyola University Medical Center between January 2018 and July 2020. Objective parameters included: LLT, IBI, PBR, IPFH, Pult meiboscore, and Schirmer I score.
