Central giant cell granuloma (CGG) is a benign intraosseous osteolytic jaw lesion that accounts for approx. 7% of all benign jaw tumours. Inflammatory, infectious or neoplastic processes are cited as the cause of ZRZG, with genetic components also playing a role. Children or young adults before the age of 30 and women are typically affected.
