A 50 year old patient presented with bilateral lower extremity weakness, lethargy, and dyspnea. Nasopharyngeal swab was positive for SARS-CoV-2. She progressed to acute hypoxemic respiratory failure and hemodynamic instability requiring intubation, pressor support, and hemodialysis. Maculopapular rashes developed on bilateral lower extremities with progressively worsening rhabdomyolysis. Bilateral lower extremity fasciotomies were performed with subsequent serial operative debridements to remove necrotic muscle. One month later, she required a right above knee amputation. There was no evidence of macrovascular thrombosis. A high clinical suspicion of rhabdomyolysis in COVID-19 patients is necessary to avoid major limb loss.

Hearing loss in children can have a detrimental impact on their development, thus lowering the psychological well-being of parents. This study examined the amount of parental stress, learned helplessness, and perceived social support in mothers of children with hearing loss (MCHL) and mothers of typically developing children (MTDC), as well as the relationship between various possible contributing factors to parental stress such as learned helplessness and perceived social support. Three questionnaires measured parental stress (Parental Stress Scale; PSS), learned helplessness (Learned Helplessness Scale; LHS), and perceived social support (Perceived Social Support-Friends PSS-Fr and Perceived Social Support-Family PSS-Fa Scale) in 100 MCHL and 90 MTDC.

Introduction: Evaluating the mechanical-anatomical alignment and angles of the knee joint is crucial for athletes. We aimed to analyse the relationship between lower extremity bone alignment and the importance of the Q angle (QA) in male athletes.
Methods: We included 38 male professional football athletes without any alignment or varus-valgus deformity who actively played football in various football clubs in Istanbul.

Objective: A simple and minimally invasive combined procedure, including transconjunctival orbital fat removal and transcutaneous resected orbital fat injection, was performed based on the anatomical characteristics of the lower eyelids in our young Chinese patients. Our study aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of this procedure in our study population.
Methods: In our retrospective study, a total of 183 consecutive patients underwent a combination of traditional transconjunctival blepharoplasty and nanofat grafting between February 2020 and June 2024.

Objective: To assess the changes of thalamic metabolites before and after surgery in patients with Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy (CSM) using Hydrogen Proton Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (H-MRS) and to investigate its association with improvement in neurological function.
Methods: Forty-eight CSM patients who underwent cervical decompression surgery from December 2022 to June 2023 were included, and 33 healthy volunteers were recruited. All subjects underwent bilateral thalamic H-MRS scans before the surgical procedure, and subsequently again 6 months later.
