Tumour 'bulk' has historically been considered an important prognostic marker and clinical tool to guide treatment in patients with lymphoma. However, its use and definitions in trial designs varies significantly and it is unclear how this has influenced the relevance of bulk in contemporary practice. Background: Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) of the lower limb is a significant clinical challenge with the potential for recurrence, which can lead to increased morbidity and reduced quality of life.
Methods: A retrospective case-control study was conducted involving 367 patients diagnosed with lower limb DVT from June 2020 to June 2023. Patients were categorized into a recurrence group ( = 121) and a non-recurrence group ( = 246) based on DVT occurrence.

We propose and prioritize important outcome domains that should be considered for future research investigating long-term outcomes (LTO) after new onset refractory status epilepticus (NORSE). The study was led by the international NORSE Institute LTO Working Group. First, literature describing the LTO of NORSE survivors was identified using a PubMed search and summarized to identify knowledge gaps.
