Objectives: To systematically map the entry-level competencies of rehabilitation professions to the World Health Organization's Rehabilitation Competency Framework (RCF) to identify overlapping commonalities and gaps across available rehabilitation frameworks.
Design: The competence frameworks of audiology, occupational therapy, physical and rehabilitation medicine, psychology, physiotherapy, prosthetics and orthotics, rehabilitation nursing, and speech and language therapy were researched online. In cases where international standards or competencies were unavailable online, expert colleagues in the related field were consulted to confirm the absence of an international document.

Reflective writing and keeping portfolios during rural hospital attachments has been shown to give medical students more confidence, better communication skills and clinical competence, thereby making them stronger adult learners. The role of supervisors as facilitators of learning during Community-based Education rural site visits is critical. The University of Zimbabwe Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences established faculty development workshops to train supervisors to be better able to support students in becoming active learners and critical thinkers, giving them constructive feedback, and encouraging them to look for positive outcomes during their rural attachments.

Objectives: Paramedics have the potential to make a substantial contribution to community-based palliative care provision. However, they are hindered by a lack of policy and institutional support, as well as targeted education and training. This study aimed to elicit paramedics', palliative care doctors' and nurses', general practitioners', residential aged care nurses' and bereaved families and carers' attitudes and perspectives on how palliative paramedicine can be improved to better suit the needs of community-based patients, their families and carers, and the clinicians involved in delivering the care.

Introduction: Six hospitals within the New York City public hospital system implemented the Consult for Addiction Treatment and Care in Hospitals (CATCH) program, an interprofessional addiction consult service. A stepped-wedge cluster randomized controlled trial tested the effectiveness of CATCH for increasing initiation and engagement in post-discharge medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) treatment among hospital patients with opioid use disorder (OUD). The objective of this study was to identify facility characteristics that were associated with stronger performance of CATCH.
