According to the preceding papers, the possible difference in activity of some nutrients on memory retrieval of "good" and "poor" learning mice was studied. Among the substances used, only phenylalanine significantly improved memory recall of poor learning mice. On the contrary, tryptophan, tyrosine, phosphatidylserine and choline did not influence memory retention of previously learned avoidance of both poor and good learning mice.

In mammalian oocytes, large-scale chromatin organization regulates transcription, nuclear architecture, and maintenance of chromosome stability in preparation for meiosis onset. Pre-ovulatory oocytes with distinct chromatin configurations exhibit profound differences in metabolic and transcriptional profiles that ultimately determine meiotic competence and developmental potential. The study of the neural circuitry underlying complex mammalian decision-making, particularly cognitive flexibility, is critical for understanding psychiatric disorders. To test cognitive flexibility, as well as potentially other decision-making paradigms involving multimodal sensory perception, we developed FlexRig, an open-source, modular behavioral platform for use in head-fixed mice. FlexRig enables the administration of tasks relying upon olfactory, somatosensory, and/or auditory cues and employing left and right licking as a behavior readout and reward delivery mechanism.
