The Aim Of The Study: Was to elaborate and assess biocompatible compositions based on oligocarbonate methacrylate filled with hydroxyapatite.
Materials And Methods: The manufacturing methods of the compositions are considered, and their polymerization ability, strength and elastic properties are evaluated.
Results: The highest values of hardness and elasticity were found in the composition containing 0.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical efficacy of antibiotic-loaded bone cement (ALBC) combined with Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) aspiration technique in the treatment of multidrug-resistant diabetic foot ulcers (MDRO-DFUs).
Methods: A retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 80 patients with MDROs-DFU who were used Vacuum sealing drainage (VSD) as NPWT excipient and met the inclusion criteria from January 2019 to January 2024 at our hospital. Patients were divided into an experimental group and a control group, with 40 cases in each.

Background: This meta-analysis was conducted to compare the efficacy and safety of vertebral augmentation (VA) plus pedicle screw fixation (PSF) with VA for treating osteoporotic thoracolumbar fractures (OTLFs).
Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted in PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) to identify studies comparing PSF+VA with VA for treating OTLF. The primary outcomes were operation time, blood loss, length of stay, visual analogue scale (VAS) score, Oswestry disability index (ODI), Cobb angle, anterior vertebral height (AVH), bone cement leakage, secondary fracture and other adverse events.

BACKGROUND Internal root resorption (IRR) is a rare dental condition characterized by the progressive resorption of dentin within the root canal, often resulting from infection, trauma, or orthodontic treatment. When IRR progresses to perforation, it creates a communication pathway with periodontal tissues, necessitating effective endodontic therapy and perforation repair. Bioceramic sealers, known for their biocompatibility and flowability, have emerged as a promising alternative to traditional materials for filling and sealing the root canal system.

Background: The standard treatment for periprosthetic joint infections (PJI) typically involves a two-stage resection arthroplasty using antibiotic-loaded bone cement (ALBC) spacers. This study hypothesizes that there is no significant correlation between antibiotic levels in blood and synovial fluid and the patient's kidney function, and that the success rates of staged resection arthroplasty are comparable between groups, specifically targeting gram-positive bacterial infections.
Methods: This retrospective review included patients treated from 2017 to 2022 with two-stage arthroplasty using vancomycin-loaded ALBC spacers, selectively targeting gram-positive infections.
