The rapid advancement of large language models (LLMs) has opened up new possibilities for transforming healthcare practices, patient interactions, and medical report generation. This paper explores the application of LLMs in developing medical chatbots and virtual assistants that prioritize clinical accuracy. We propose a novel multi-turn dialogue model, including adjusting the position of layer normalization to improve training stability and convergence, employing a contextual sliding window reply prediction task to capture fine-grained local context, and developing a local critical information distillation mechanism to extract and emphasize the most relevant information.

Commenting on our systematic review and meta-analysis on the reporting and representation of race/ethnicity in randomized controlled trials ADHD, Jurek and Leaune thoughtfully highlighted important legal barriers that hinder the reporting of race/ethnicity data in research in some countries, focusing on France as an example. They concluded that this situation calls for a tangible action to change the status quo. Looking ahead, the question is: how should this action be implemented effectively? Given the antiracist journey that JAACAP is proudly undertaking, AACAP and JAACAP are in an ideal position to take on the challenge highlighted by Jurek and Leaune.

Does the visual system adapt to number? For more than fifteen years, most have assumed that the answer is an unambiguous "yes". Against this prevailing orthodoxy, we recently took a critical look at the phenomenon, questioning its existence on both empirical and theoretical grounds, and providing an alternative explanation for extant results (the old news hypothesis).
