This case report describes a 45-year-old male who presented with mobility and dull pain in the lower right back tooth region for two months. Initially diagnosed with localized periodontitis at a private clinic, the patient sought a second opinion. Clinical examination revealed slight obliteration of the buccal vestibule and mobility in teeth 45 and 46.

Intraosseous lipomas are rare benign tumors of mesenchymal origin, particularly unusual in the maxilla. Spindle cell lipomas, a histological subtype, are even more uncommon, with limited cases reported in the literature. This report documents a rare case of intraosseous spindle cell lipoma in the anterior maxilla of a 66-year-old male and presents a review of 39 gnathic lipoma cases from the literature published between 1976 and 2024.

Xanthomas are benign lesions characterized by the aggregation of lipid-laden histiocytes and foamy cells within tissues. Intraosseous xanthomas (IOXs), especially those in the jaw bone, are rare, with only around 50 cases documented. This case report describes an IOX located at an osteotomy site in the mandible during sagittal split ramus osteotomy (SSRO).

Background: A simple bone cyst (SBC) is a non-neoplastic intraosseous cavity without an epithelial lining. It is usually asymptomatic and has little effect on the surrounding structures. SBC associated with root resorption of the involved tooth has seldom been reported.

: Mandibular reconstruction poses challenges in achieving functional and aesthetic outcomes. Effective oral rehabilitation is crucial for restoring function and improving quality of life; however, the altered neomandibular anatomy complicates oral hygiene, increasing the risk of peri-implant complications and making successful rehabilitation more difficult. This study introduces a novel approach combining vestibuloplasty with patient-specific implant-retained splints to enhance oral health and improve rehabilitation outcomes.
