Introduction: Adolescence is marked by hormonal, physical, neural, and behavioral changes, including in sleep patterns and, in females, the onset of menarche. Menstrual problems, such as painful menses, are common and contribute to school absences, and could indicate gynecological conditions impacting reproductive health.
