Background: Laryngeal involvement is rare in tuberculosis, representing around 1% of all cases of this infection worldwide. Given the larynx' location in the airway, this form of tuberculosis is of particular importance because it is highly contagious. With our hospital being in a high tuberculosis burden area, we propose to characterize the clinical presentation, evolution, and laryngoscopy findings of a series of laryngeal tuberculosis cases in order to reduce misdiagnosis.

Amyloidosis is a rare disease. This paper reports a case of localized secondary hypopharyngeal amyloidosis presenting with pulmonary tuberculosis as the initial symptom. The patient lacked specific clinical manifestations and primarily exhibited symptoms such as cough, sputum production, acid reflux, belching, and abdominal pain.

Purpose: To investigate the clinical characteristics, diagnosis and prognosis of patients with laryngeal tuberculosis (LTB) combined with respiratory tuberculosis.

Materials And Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 134 patients who underwent endoscopy and were eventually diagnosed with LTB. Objective: The present study assessed the diagnostic and prognostic significance of endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) for suspected intrathoracic metastasis after HNC treatment.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 75 patients with a prior history of head and neck cancer treatment who underwent EBUS-TBNA for suspected intrathoracic metastases between March 2012 and December 2021.

Results: A total of 126 targeted lesions, including 107 mediastinal/hilar lymph nodes and 19 intrapulmonary/mediastinal masses, were sampled.
