Tracheal obstruction can arise from multiple conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, foreign bodies, tumors, and acute heart failure. We report a case of a 43-year-old man with cervical liposarcoma who, following surgical excision, chemotherapy, and radiation, presented with severe dyspnea and was admitted to our hospital. A CT scan detected an endotracheal mass causing significant obstruction, suspected to be malignant.

Tracheal bronchogenic cyst: a rare cause of stridor.

A 6-month-old child with stridor from 3 months of age presented with interim worsening following a respiratory infection. Airway evaluation revealed a smooth, polypoidal mass herniating in and out of the airway with each respiratory cycle, from the anterior surface of the upper trachea. Computerized tomography showed a non-enhancing cystic mass in anterior neck protruding into the upper trachea through an anterior tracheal defect.

To investigate the clinicopathological features and differential diagnosis of primary pulmonary hyalinizing clear cell carcinoma (HCCC), as well as its diagnostic pitfalls in assessing biopsy specimens. Five cases of primary pulmonary HCCC diagnosed in the Department of Pathology, Shanghai Chest Hospital, Shanghai, China from August 2019 to December 2023 were collected. The clinicopathological characteristics, immunohistochemistry, and the EWSR1 gene related translocation and fusion were summarized, and relevant literature was reviewed.
