Computer-guided surgery is a new technology in the field of implant dentistry. The surgical guide is produced using cone-beam computed tomography along with the patient's intraoral scanning, with both documents integrated into software to produce the guide. It is important to note that surgery guided by tomography aims to achieve better diagnosis, planning, surgical precision, and prognosis.

Background: Anatomically formed healing abutments were suggested in literature to address many of the issues associated with immediate posterior implant insertion such as large extraction sockets that are extremely hard to seal without reflecting the mucoperiosteal flap, extraction sockets anatomy that are not suitable for regular healing abutment placement, and potentially high occlusal stresses when planning a temporary implant supported prothesis to improve the conditioning of supra implant tissue architecture and the emergence profile of the implant supported restorations.
Purpose: To clinically evaluate the peri-implant soft tissue profile of single posterior implant retained restorations and to assess patient related outcomes of the implant restorations that were conditioned immediately by CAD-CAM socket sealing abutments (SSA) versus those conditioned by Titanium (Ti) standard healing abutments (SHA).
Methods: Twenty participants received twenty-two single maxillary immediate implants after flapless minimally invasive tooth extraction and 3D guided implant placement in the posterior area (premolar and molar) and allocated randomly into two groups (n = 11), the intervention group: patients received PEEK SSA and the control group: the patients received Ti SHA.

Introduction: In recent years, erbium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Er:YAG) and erbium, chromium/yttrium-scandium-gallium-garnet (Er,Cr:YSGG) lasers have been introduced as another possibility to perform less-invasive flapless (FL) crown-lengthening (CL) procedures.
Objectives: The aim of this review is to describe the outcomes and complications of this approach.
Materials And Methods: A literature review was conducted to retrieve clinical studies and case reports that analyze different variables related to laser-assisted flapless crown lengthening and report their outcomes in terms of gingival margin level stability (GMLS), and postoperative complications.

Background: Although there are many works analyzing the clinical behavior of immediate loading of implants inserted by guided surgery, the literature referring specifically to elderly patients is scarce. The aim of this investigation is to present the clinical outcomes of immediate loading of implants inserted by guided surgery in geriatric patients with edentulous maxilla.
Material And Methods: The clinical data of 20 elderly patients with edentulous jaws are analyzed retrospectively.

A multifaceted study compared transgingival (flapless) implant placement with conventional flapped placement, which employed clinical, radiographic, biochemical, and patient-centered parameters. The study was approved by the institutional ethics committee and was conducted according to the ethical standards in the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki and its amendments. Seventy-five implants were placed, 37 by flapless method (group 1) and 38 by flapped method (group 2).
