We report on the structural and magnetic properties of Ru substituted skyrmion metal MnSi i.e. Mn1-xRuSi for the nominal compositions of0⩽x⩽0.5. The composition-temperature () phase diagram illustrates the substitution-driven changes in the magnetic behavior. It is confirmed that the magnetic ordering temperature (para-to helimagnetic)Ttrand the effective magneticμeffmoment decrease with increasing. This indicates the suppression of magnetic order by the substitution of Ru in MnSi. However, the magnetic nature is sustained up to a concentration of about= 0.1 above which the system exhibits spin-glass like nature as inferred from the negative Curie-Weiss temperatureθCW, reduced magnetic moment (of the order 10-2 μBf.u.-1) and linear(at 2 K) in= 0.5. Mn1-xRuSi is found to avoid the quantum phase transition and exhibits a composition-driven magnetic to spin-glass like transition.

Cellulite is an aesthetically distressing skin condition occurring in 80-90% of females and manifesting as dimples and depressions, producing an uneven surface to the skin. Our aim was to evaluate the effect of combined oral consumption of two dietary supplements based on chokeberry and tart cherry juices over a period of 32 days on cellulite reduction. Twenty women aged 21-49 with a cellulite grade of 1-2 according to the Nurnberger-Muller scale were participating in the study.

Ejection fraction is commonly used to assess Duchenne muscular dystrophy-associated cardiomyopathy (DMDAC), but it may remain normal (wrongly) despite significant myocardial dysfunction in patients. Half-metallic magnetism, characterized by metallic behavior in one spin direction and semiconducting or insulating behavior in the opposite spin direction, is an intriguing and highly useful physical property for advanced spintronics because it allows for the complete realization of 100% spin-polarized current. Particularly, half-metallic antiferromagnetism is recognized as an excellent candidate for the development of highly efficient spintronic devices due to its zero net magnetic moment combined with 100% spin polarization, which results in lower energy losses and eliminates stray magnetic fields compared to half-metallic ferromagnets. However, the synthesis and characterization of half-metallic antiferromagnets have not been reported until now as the theoretically proposed materials require a delicate and challenging approach to fabricate such complex compounds.

Magnetocaloric high-entropy alloys (HEAs) have recently garnered significant interest owing to their potential applications in magnetic refrigeration, offering a wide working temperature range and large refrigerant capacity. In this study, we thoroughly investigated the structural, magnetic, and magnetocaloric properties of equiatomic GdDyHoErTm HEAs. The as-cast alloy exhibits a single hexagonal phase, a randomly distributed grain orientation, and complex magnetism.
