Primary Hypertrophic Osteoarthropathy (PHOAR1) is characterized by autosomal recessive loss of function variants in 15-hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase (HPGD) leading to digital clubbing, periostosis, pachydermia, and severe hyperhidrosis. HPGD catalyzes the first step of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) degradation. Selective COX-2 inhibitors have proved beneficial in adults, though it is unknown if early initiation of COX-2 inhibitors can alter the natural history of PHOAR1.

Objective: Demonstrate the superiority of percutaneous balloon compression (PBC) in the treatment of primary trigeminal neuralgia (PTN) compared to trigeminal microvascular decompression (MVD).
Methods: Clinical data, including immediate, short-term, and long-term pain relief, complications, duration of the operation, and postoperative hospital stay, were retrospectively analyzed for 114 patients diagnosed with PTN who were treated with either PBC or MVD between January 2018 and December 2021.
Results: There were no statistically significant differences observed in the pain relief rates between the two surgical methods at 24 h postoperatively (MVD: 91.

The reconstruction of complex skin defects challenges clinical practice, with autologous skin grafts (ASGs) as the traditional choice due to their high graft take rate and patient compatibility. However, ASGs have limitations such as donor site morbidity, limited tissue availability, and the necessity for multiple surgeries in severe cases. Bioengineered skin grafts (BSGs) aim to address these drawbacks through advanced tissue engineering and biomaterial science.

Objective: To explore the current research status and trends of potassium-competitive acid blockers (P-CABs) in the treatment of acid related diseases (ARDs) using bibliometric analysis.
Materials And Methods: We collected publications related to P-CAB in the treatment of acid-related diseases in the Web of Science (WOS) Core Collection from the establishment of the database to 30 June 2024. We evaluated the publication volume and citation status over the years using the WOS platform, and visualized the authors, countries, institutions, keywords, and citations of the publications using CiteSpace and VOSviewer.
