Direct irradiation of mono-, di-, and trisubstituted triphenylamine derivatives in acetonitrile as solvent with light of 254 nm has been systematically investigated, revealing that the / carbazole derivatives were formed as the main photoproducts from modest to good yields for triphenylamines substituted with electron-donor and neutral substituents. The kinetic profiles of the photoreaction were also recorded, and the consumption rate constants () were measured. These kinetic parameters show dependence on the nature of the substituents, and linear Hammett correlations were carried out to showcase the substituent effect. On the other hand, the spectroscopic behavior of the electron-rich substituted triphenylamines has been analyzed, suggesting that the fluorescence emission spectra display a mirror image of the lower energy absorption bands, while for those amines bearing electron-acceptor groups the formation of charge-transfer complexes and their fluorescence emissions constitute the main deactivation pathway of the photoreaction.

Objectives The study was conducted to generate real-world data on prescription patterns and patient profiles for sitagliptin-based therapies in real-world outpatient settings across India. Method A cross-sectional, observational, multicenter, real-world prescription event monitoring (PEM) study was conducted at 1058 sites across India over six months, from 1 August 2023 to 16 January 2024. Adult type 2 diabetes patients receiving sitagliptin-based mono or combination therapies were included in the study.

Background: Health risks associated with phthalate esters depend on exposure level, individual sensitivities, and other contributing factors.
Purpose: This study employed artificial intelligence algorithms while applying data mining techniques to identify correlations between phthalate esters [di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, DEHP], lifestyle factors, and disease outcomes.
Methods: We conducted exploratory analysis using demographic and laboratory data collected from the Taiwan Biobank.

Analog processed cheeses are cheese-like products with diverse compositions and functional properties that are produced by replacing milk components with non-milk components. The aim of the study was to investigate physicochemical, rheological and sensory properties of cheeses and oleogels. The results showed; that increasing the concentration of Mono and di-glyceride increased the oil binding capacity and improved the characteristics of the oleogel texture and stable during storage, especially in terms of oxidative.

The chlorinated paraffin (CP) monomer 1,2,5,6,9,10-Hexachlorodecane (CP-4) was subjected to in vitro biotransformation using human and carp liver microsomes. Five types of CP-4 metabolites (OH-, keto-, enol-, aldehyde- and carboxy-CP-4) were identified in human liver microsomer while only mono-OH-CP-4 was found in the carp liver microsomes. Kinetic studies revealed that the formation of mono-, di-, tri-hydroxylated CP-4, keto-, enol-, and aldehyde-CP-4 in human liver microsomes was best described by substrate inhibition models, whereas the formation of carboxylated CP-4 metabolites best fit the Michaelis-Menten model.

The selective oxyfunctionalization of unsaturated fatty acids is difficult in chemical reactions, whereas regio- and stereoselective oxyfunctionalization is often performed in biocatalytic synthesis. Fatty acid oxygenases, including hydratases, lipoxygenases, dioxygenases, diol synthases, cytochrome P450 monooxygenases, peroxygenases, and 12-hydroxylases, are used to convert C16 and C18 unsaturated fatty acids to diverse regio- and stereoselective mono-, di-, and trihydroxy fatty acids via selective oxyfunctionalization. The formed hydroxy fatty acids or hydroperoxy fatty acids are metabolized to industrially important oxygenated chemicals such as lactones, green leaf volatiles, and bioplastic monomers, including ω-hydroxy fatty acids, α,ω-dicarboxylic acids, and fatty alcohols, by biocatalysts.
