Migration test of food utensils, containers, and packaging is an important test method for confirming the safety and their compliance to the standards. However, there is little report on inter-laboratory study which was performed to evaluate the entire migration test, including migration operations and quantification. An interlaboratory study was performed participating 22 laboratories using 8 types of model synthetic resin samples containing 10 substances with a wide range of Log P values to evaluate the accuracy of the entire migration test. As a result, most of HorRat (r) values met the target criteria (0.3

Department of Oncology, The Affiliated Hospital of Jianghan University, WuHan City No.6 Hospital, Wuhan, 430015, China.

Unlabelled: Gastric cancer is associated with high morbidity and mortality rates and seriously threatens human life. Our research aimed to explore the effects of poly (A) binding protein cytoplasmic 1 (PABPC1) on gastric cancer cells and elucidate the underlying mechanisms.

Methods: PABPC1 levels in gastric cancer cell lines were assessed by western blotting and RT-qPCR.

Jararhagin-C (JarC) is a protein from the venom of consisting of disintegrin-like and cysteine-rich domains. JarC shows a modulating effect on angiogenesis and remodeling of extracellular matrix constituents, improving wound healing in a mouse experimental model. JarC is purified from crude venom, and the yield is less than 1%.

Single-Atom Mo Supported by TiO for Photocatalytic Nitrogen Fixation.

Langmuir

December 2024

State Key Laboratory of High-Efficiency Utilization of Coal and Green Chemical Engineering, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Ningxia University, Yinchuan, Ningxia 750021, PR China.

The challenge of achieving efficient photocatalysts for the fixation of ambient nitrogen to ammonia persists. The utilization efficiency of single-metal-atom catalysts leads to an increased number of active sites, while their distinctive geometrical and electronic characteristics contribute to enhancing the intrinsic activity of each individual site. In this study, we present a method using an organic molecule to assist in loading TiO with Mo single atoms for the purpose of photocatalytic nitrogen fixation.

Background: Rigorous assessment of antibody developability is crucial for optimizing lead candidates before progressing to clinical studies. Recent advances in predictive tools for protein structures, surface properties, stability, and immunogenicity have streamlined the development of new biologics. However, accurate prediction of the impact of single amino acid substitutions on antibody structures remains challenging, due to the diversity of complementarity-determining regions (CDRs), particularly CDR3s.

As one of the provinces with the largest number of national forest cities, all prefecture-level cities in Guangdong Province have joined the campaigns of building forest cities. Mastering the spatial and temporal variations of ecological environment quality (EEQ) in Guangdong Province is conducive to the benign interaction and coordinated development of urban construction and ecosystem. We used the water benefit-based ecological index (WBEI) to achieve rapid monitoring of EEQ in Guangdong Province, utilized the standard deviation ellipse and gravity center migration, Theil-Sen Median trend method and Mann-Kendall test to explore the spatial distribution disparities and trends, and analyzed the coupling coordination between EEQ and urbanization.
