Objective: To compare the sociodemographic and clinical profiles of patients with advanced cancer admitted to a tertiary palliative care unit before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods: This is an analysis of data from patients receiving care before (10/21/2019 to 03/16/2020) and during (09/23/2020 to 08/26/2021) the COVID-19 pandemic. Sociodemographic and clinical data were evaluated.

Ganglion cysts are benign soft tissue tumors that commonly occur in the joints, especially the wrist. Surgical excision and steroid injection are the two main treatment options; however, their efficacy remains unclear. This prospective interventional control trial included 54 patients with ganglion cysts treated between March 2023 and March 2024 at Saveetha Medical College Hospital, Chennai.

Purpose: Severe injury of multiple anatomical structures of the upper extremity can be caused by an extremely violent mechanism during labor and motor vehicle accidents, gunshots and explosions. The mangled upper extremity consists of trauma of at least 3 of 4 tissue types: connective tissue (skin, subcutaneous tissue, tendons, muscles), vessels, nerves, and bones. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the medium and long-term results of the limb salvage management of those injuries in our department.

Retrospective datasets offer essential context for conservation by revealing species' ecological roles before industrial-era human impacts. We analysed isotopic compositions of pre-industrial and modern sea otters () to reconstruct pre-extirpation ecology and offer insights for management. Our study focuses on southeast Alaska (SEAK), where sea otters are recolonizing, and northern Oregon, where translocations are being considered.

The Scottish Open Fracture of Tibia (SOFT) Audit is a national review of open tibial shaft fractures across all four Scottish Trauma Networks, which aims to provide a definite review of ortho-plastic care for open tibial shaft fractures in Scotland.
