The scalable production of uniformly distributed graphene (GR)-based composite materials remains a sizable challenge. While GR-polymer nanocomposites can be manufactured at a large scale, processing limitations result in poor control over the homogeneity of hydrophobic GR sheets in the matrices. Such processes often result in difficulties controlling stability and avoiding aggregation, therefore eliminating benefits that might have otherwise arisen from the nanoscopic dimensions of GR. Here, we report an exfoliated and stabilized GR dispersion in water. Cucurbit[8]uril (CB[8])-mediated host-guest chemistry was used to obtain supramolecular hydrogels consisting of uniformly distributed GR and guest-functionalized macromolecules. The obtained GR hydrogels show superior bioelectrical properties over identical systems produced without CB[8]. Utilizing such supramolecular interactions with biologically derived macromolecules is a promising approach to stabilize graphene in water and avoid oxidative chemistry.

The toughening coix seed oil (CSO) high internal phase Pickering emulsion (CSO-HIPES) and gel (CSO-HIPESG) comprised of carrageenan (CR)/super-deamidated-gluten (SDG) micro-particles (CR/SDG) were investigated via acid-heat induction. Results showed polysaccharide natural deep eutectic solvent (P-NADES) by citric acid-glucose-carrageenan ((CGCR), molar ratio at 1:1:0.035) was the crucial for the preparation of SDG (deamidation degree, 99.

Perovskite-organic tandem solar cells (P-O-TSCs) hold substantial potential to surpass the theoretical efficiency limits of single-junction solar cells. However, their performance is hampered by non-ideal interconnection layers (ICLs). Especially in n-i-p configurations, the incorporation of metal nanoparticles negatively introduces serious parasitic absorption, which alleviates photon utilization in organic rear cell and decisively constrains the maximum photocurrent matching with front cell.

High-performance gas separation membranes have potential in industrial separation applications, while overcoming the permeability-selectivity trade-off via regulable aperture distribution remains challenging. Here, we report a strategy to fabricate Polyolefin Reweaved Ultra-micropore Membrane (PRUM) to acquire regulable microporous channel. Specifically, olefin monomers are dispersed uniformly into a pristine membrane (e.

This paper focuses on a four-capacitor flexible sensor composed of two electrode materials; also, the decoupling method and sensing performance for multimodal sensing of spatial forces and dynamic humidity are described. In previous work, decoupling of multimode sensors is mostly done by monitoring the types of signals, numerical differences of the same signal, and stacking multiple parameter-sensitive materials. This paper mainly uses the different characteristics of the two electrode materials; in the simulation and experiment of humidity, the moisture-sensitive electrode quickly wets from the outside to the inside and expands, and the contact angle quickly decreases from 58.
