Pulmonary sequestration is a rare pulmonary malformation, typically characterized by asymptomatic presentation or recurrent pulmonary infections, with chest pain and hemothorax being exceedingly rare occurrences. The rupture and hemorrhage of maternal pulmonary sequestration during pregnancy pose a life-threatening condition that is challenging to diagnose. We present a case of a 37-year-old pregnant woman in her third trimester who presented with acute progressive hemothorax, a complication arising from maternal pulmonary sequestration.

Cardiac hemangiomas are exceedingly rare, comprising only 5% to 10% of benign cardiac tumors. We report a patient with a large right atrial mass and end-stage heart failure with severe left ventricular dysfunction. Echocardiography revealed a mass obstructing tricuspid inflow.

An asymptomatic 79-year old woman presented with a 40 mm pancreatic cystic lesion, located in the pancreatic body-tail and consistent with branch-duct intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (BD-IPMN) without "high risk stigmata". During a 4-year follow-up period, imaging showed no mural nodules or main pancreatic duct dilation, and serum CEA and CA19.9 were within normal range.

Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) and Erdheim-Chester disease (ECD) are exceptionally rare disorders characterized by varied clinical presentations, posing several challenges for clinicians. The concomitant occurrence of LCH and ECD is exceedingly rare and has no known etiology. In this report, we present a rare case of mixed histiocytosis (both ECD and LCH) with multisystem involvement.

Background: Pharyngeal perforation has been documented as a consequence of substantial external force applied to the neck. Such trauma is frequently accompanied by additional organ injury and cervical fracture. In this report, we present an exceptionally rare instance in which minor blunt trauma to the neck resulted in pharyngeal injury without concomitant damage to other organs.
