Oncology care management via oral oncolytic therapy requires frequent laboratory monitoring for potential toxicities. A lag in these processes can result in treatment delays and care team dissatisfaction. A nurse-led quality improvement project was implemented to streamline processes, clearly define job tasks, and introduce a remote patient-reported symptom monitoring application to improve patient safety, access, operational productivity, and care team satisfaction. Project results included eliminating paper fax distribution, a 97% decrease in time required to process faxed remote laboratory results, and a 78% reduction in mouse clicks to complete laboratory orders and patient correspondence.

In modern knee arthroplasty, surgeons increasingly aim for individualised implant selection based on data-driven decisions to improve patient satisfaction rates. The identification of an implant design that optimally fits to a patient's native kinematic patterns and functional requirements could provide a basis towards subject-specific phenotyping. This exploratory qualitative study examines the challenges faced by manual wheelchair (MWC) users and their clinicians, with a focus on mobility difficulties in both outdoor and indoor environments, as well as training priorities. The study involved semi-structured interviews with 18 clinicians and 25 MWC users from various rehabilitation centres. The interviews, lasting between 30 and 60 minutes, explored specific aspects of MWC use, including mobility challenges, training needs, and psychological factors.

Aim: This systematic review aimed to investigate the digital determinants of pharmacists' readiness for technology-oriented practice change and interoperability.
The present study examined how individuals who have been clinically diagnosed as obese explain their decision to undergo bariatric surgery and how they deal with the stigmatization that such a decision may entail. A total of 23 participants (15 women and 8 men) who were awaiting bariatric surgery within the Spanish healthcare system, were interviewed about their weight trajectory and their decision to undergo this surgery. In order to examine the participants' stories, a narrative analysis of the interviews was conducted, with attention to both content ( they told) and structure ( they told) and examining the stories in line with the socially and culturally available narratives that they had access to, and the context in which the stories were produced.
