The alkaloid profile of L. and subsp. (Kreyer) Avet have not been characterized yet. UHPLC-PDA-Q-TOF-MS/MS and LC-DAD-QqQ-MS/MS methods were used herein to characterize the metabolite profiles of these plants. Flash chromatography in combination with preparative- and semi preparative HPLC were utilized for the isolation of the compounds of interest. The structure of the isolated compounds was proposed based on their MS/MS fragmentation and NMR characteristics. As a total of 19 tropane derivatives, two tyramine derivatives (-- and -- feruloyl tyramine), a lignanamide (grossamide), an alkylamide (pellitorine) were identified in the root and herb extracts of . Moreover, rutin and caffeoylquinic acids were found in the leaves and fruits, while kaempferol-3--glucoside-7--rhamnoside and quercetin-3--glucoside-rhamnoside-rhamnoside were exclusively characteristic for the leaves of . The root and herb extracts of contained 16 tropane alkaloid derivatives along with methyl tropate and two tyramine derivatives.

Matcha is a very popular tea food around the world, being widely used in the food, beverage, health food, and cosmetic industries, among others. At present, matcha shade covering methods, matcha superfine powder processing technology, and digital evaluations of matcha flavor quality are receiving research attention. However, research on the differences in flavor and quality characteristics of matcha from the same tea tree variety from different typical regions in China is relatively weak and urgently required.

() is an important medicinal plant in the Aconitum genus that is known for its diterpenoid alkaloids, which exhibit significant pharmacological activity and toxicity, thus making it valuable for both medicinal use and as a biopesticide. Although the biosynthesis of terpenoids is well characterized, the potential gene regulatory role of microRNAs (miRNAs) in terpenoid biosynthesis in remains unclear, and further research is needed to explore this aspect in this species. In this study, miRNA sequencing was conducted to analyze the miRNA population and its targets in .

Alkaloids are predominantly nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds that are usually isolated from plants, and sometimes from insects or animals. Alkaloids are one of the most important types of natural products due to their diverse biological activities and potential applications in modern medicine. Cyclic imines were chosen as starting compounds for the synthesis of alkaloids due to their high synthetic potential.

wilt (VW) caused by (Vd) is a devastating fungal cotton disease characterized by high pathogenicity, widespread distribution, and frequent variation. It leads to significant losses in both the yield and quality of cotton. Identifying key non-synonymous single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers and crucial genes associated with VW resistance in and , and subsequently breeding new disease-resistant varieties, are essential for VW management.
