Rheological and small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) measurements were conducted on a symmetric, low molar mass ( = 17.6 kg/mol), poly(-butylstyrene--methyl methacrylate) (PtBS-PMMA) diblock copolymer near the order-disorder transition temperature ( = 193 ± 1 °C). Evidence of composition fluctuations is apparent in the low frequency elastic (G') and loss (G″) moduli and in the temperature dependence of the peak scattering intensity, (*), up to 50 °C above the . These findings demonstrate that chain entanglements are not responsible for the well-documented fluctuation mode in the terminal viscoelastic regime of block copolymer melts.

The study analyzed the spatial distribution characteristics, evolution rules, and driving factors of 138 China's national agricultural cultural heritage sites from 2013 to 2021 at the overall and regional levels, using kernel density analysis, Centres for standard deviation ellipse analyses, spatial autocorrelation analysis, and geographical detector analysis. The results showed that: ①From an overall perspective, the spatial pattern of China's national agricultural cultural heritage changed greatly from 2013 to 2021, with a highly uneven spatial distribution, gradually showing a distribution pattern of "widely distributed, locally concentrated". The spatial distribution of China's national agricultural cultural heritage is increasingly evident, and the spatial distribution type has evolved from discrete to clustered.

Translational validity of mouse models of Alzheimer's disease (AD) is variable. Because change in weight is a well-documented precursor of AD, we investigated whether diversity of human AD risk weight phenotypes was evident in a longitudinally characterized cohort of 1,196 female and male humanized APOE (hAPOE) mice, monitored up to 28 months of age which is equivalent to 81 human years. Autoregressive Hidden Markov Model (AHMM) incorporating age, sex, and APOE genotype was employed to identify emergent weight trajectories and phenotypes.

Introduction: Intestinal constipation is a substantive global health concern, significantly impairing patient quality of life. An emerging view is that the gut microbiota plays a critical role in intestinal function, and probiotics could offer therapeutic benefits. This study aims to consolidate evidence from randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that assess the effectiveness of probiotics in modulating microbiota and ameliorating symptoms of constipation.

Haplotyped-resolved phased assemblies aim to capture the full allelic diversity in heterozygous and polyploid species to enable accurate genetic analyses. However, building non-collapsed references still presents a challenge. Here, we used long-range interaction Hi-C reads (high-throughput chromatin conformation capture) and HiFi PacBio reads to assemble the genome of the apomictic cultivar Basilisks from Urochloa decumbens (2n = 4x = 36), an outcrossed tetraploid Paniceae grass widely cropped to feed livestock in the tropics.

Background: The Crohn's disease exclusion diet (CDED) has been shown to induce remission in adult Crohn's disease (CD) patients. The aim of the study is to provide additional evidence-based validation.
Methods: We conducted an open-label, randomized trial on adult CD patients with mild-to-moderate symptoms to assess CDED efficacy in inducing symptomatic remission using Mediterranean diet as control.
