Objectives: To evaluate hospital outcomes and their predictors during the pandemic for patients with and without COVID-19, stratified by the presence of acute kidney injury (AKI).
Design: Retrospective observation study using the Hospital Episodes Statistics database for England.
Participants: 2 385 337 unique hospital admissions of adult patients from March 2020 to March 2021 in England.
Objective: To examine the accuracy of the Australia and New Zealand Dialysis and Transplant Registry (ANZDATA), the population-based clinical quality registry for people with kidney failure, in identifying Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
Design: Population-based cohort study of reporting accuracy.
Setting: New South Wales, 2006-2020.

Background: Approximately, 40% of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) patients experience insufficient symptom relief from proton-pump inhibitors (PPI), resulting in PPI-refractory GERD (rGERD).
Objective: To review the existing literature and develop an Indian expert group consensus statement on the place of vonoprazan in the management of rGERD.
Materials And Methods: A panel of 35 leading Indian gastroenterologists extensively reviewed the literature to develop consensus statements for the management of rGERD in Indian patients, with a focus on the newly available potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB), vonoprazan.

Hemorrhage remains a leading cause of death in trauma patients, despite advances in strategies such as damage control surgery, massive transfusion protocol, and intensive care.
