The compound, tetraethylammonium tetrachloroferrate [(CH)N]FeCl, was prepared by slow evaporation at room temperature. It was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, thermal analysis, and impedance and vibrational spectroscopy. X-ray diffraction data confirmed formation of a single phase material which crystallized at room temperature in the hexagonal system (6 space group). DSC showed the existence of two phase transitions at 413 K and 430 K. Electrical conductivity was measured in the temperature and frequency ranges of 390 K to 440 K and 40 Hz to 110 MHz, respectively. Nyquist plots revealed the existence of grains and grain boundaries that were fitted to an equivalent circuit. AC conductivity plots were analyzed by Jonscher's power law. Variations in the "" values indicated that CBH models describe the conduction mechanism in regions I and II. Temperature dependence of Raman spectra showed that the most important changes were observed in the cationic parts ([(CH)N]). The activation energy value obtained from the line width decreased which indicated an order-disorder model.

The precise localization of epileptic foci with the help of EEG or iEEG signals is still a clinical challenge with current methodology, especially if the foci are not close to individual electrodes. On the research side, dipole reconstruction for focus localization is a topic of recent and current developments. Relatively low numbers of recording electrodes cause ill-posed and ill-conditioned problems in the inversion of lead-field matrices to calculate the focus location.

: Lung cancer is an aggressive disease with rapid progression and a high rate of metastasis, leading to a significantly poor prognosis for many patients. While chemotherapy continues to serve as a cornerstone treatment for a large proportion of lung cancer patients, expanding preclinical and clinical evidence indicates that chemotherapy may promote tumor metastasis and cause side effects. : We develop an injectable bait-and-hook hydrogel (BH-gel) for targeted tumor cell eradication, which embedded doxorubicin liposomes as cytotoxic agents and CXCL12 as a chemoattractant to capture and kill tumor cells.

This study reports the development of highly conductive and stretchable fibrous membranes based on PVDF/PAN conjugate electrospinning with embedded silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) for wearable sensing applications. The fabrication process integrated conjugate electrospinning of PVDF/PAN, selective dissolution of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) to create porous networks, and uniform AgNP incorporation via adsorption-reduction. Systematic optimization revealed that 10 wt.

Si anode materials are promising candidates for next-generation Li-ion batteries (LIBs) because of their high capacities. However, expansion and low conductivity result in rapid performance degradation. Herein, we present a facile one-pot method for pyrolyzing polystyrene sulfonate (PSS) polymers at low temperatures (≤400 °C) to form a thin carbonaceous layer on the silicon surface.

Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) is applied in most advanced high-voltage direct-current (HVDC) power cable insulations, which are produced via dicumyl peroxide (DCP) technology. The electrical conductivity of insulation material can be increased by cross-linking byproducts from the DCP process. Hence, currently much attention is being paid to a new process to produce cross-linking byproduct-free XLPE.
