Every year there are approximately 3 million new outpatient specialist clinic appointments at local hospital networks in Victoria, Australia. Growing daily demand for these services leads to high-volume waiting lists and therefore long appointment delays for patients. This phenomenon emphasises the importance of providing analytics and tools to assist with waiting list management in outpatient specialist clinics.

: Mothers and their newborns experiencing caesarean birth often receive delayed or interrupted skin-to-skin care (SSC) despite the intervention being well recognised as beneficial to both mother and baby, with no associated risk for increased morbidity or mortality. Maternal birth satisfaction is recognised as an indicator of quality maternity care; however, most of the research has focused on early intraoperative SSC initiation and breastfeeding outcomes. : To collate and synthesise evidence for maternal satisfaction of intraoperative and early postpartum SSC during and immediately following caesarean birth.

Introduction and importance: Extrapelvic endometriosis, confined exclusively to the body of the rectus abdominis muscle, is a rare form of abdominal wall endometriosis. While its etiopathology remains unclear, it is often diagnosed in healthy women who present with atypical symptoms and localization unrelated to any incision site, or in the absence of a history of endometriosis or previous surgery. Presentation of the case: Here, we describe a unique case of intramuscular endometriosis of the rectus abdominis muscle in a healthy 39-year-old Caucasian woman.
