Background: To overcome the anatomical limitation of a narrow aorta and short length from the renal artery to the terminal aorta, unibody endograft AFX2 and iliac branch endoprosthesis (IBE) can be combined.

Case Presentation: Case 1: The first patient was an 89-year-old woman who had a right saccular common iliac artery (CIA) aneurysm (38 mm); the abdominal aorta was not aneurysmal (diameter, 19 mm). The right CIA's origin was 10 mm in diameter. A bifurcated AFX2 was placed in an ordinary manner. Then, IBE was inserted in the right leg of the AFX2. Case 2: The second patient was an 87-year-old man diagnosed with an abdominal aortic aneurysm (55 mm), right dissecting CIA aneurysm (20 mm), and right hypogastric artery aneurysm (22 mm) extending to the bifurcation of the superior and inferior gluteal arteries. The length between the renal artery and terminal aorta was 107 mm. The beginning of the right CIA was segmentally stenotic (13 mm). A bifurcated AFX2 was placed in the infrarenal aorta; IBE was advanced to the origin of the right limb of the AFX2. To control the type 1b endoleak, the right superior gluteal artery was embolized with coils and internal iliac components were deployed toward the inferior gluteal artery. Satisfactory results were obtained in both cases.

Conclusion: The AFX2 main body and IBE could be combined to preserve hypogastric blood flow and overcome anatomical limitations.

Objective: The aim of this study was to assess the short- and long-term outcomes of patients who underwent the arterial switch operation (ASO) at Siriraj Hospital in Thailand, and to identify postoperative complications and factors that significantly affect patient survival.

Materials And Methods: We retrospectively studied all patients with dextro-transposition of the great arteries and anatomic variants who underwent the ASO from January 1995 to December 2020. Twenty-year overall survival and 15-year freedom from reoperation/reintervention were estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method.

Purpose: Wide acceptance of arthroscopically treating posterolateral corner injuries has not occurred. There remains a fear of neurovascular (NV) injury while arthroscopically performing these reconstructions. The study's aim is to compare on Magnetic Resonance Scans the distance of the tibial tunnel in an arthroscopic popliteus tendon reconstruction (APB) and arthroscopic posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstruction (APC) to the popliteal neurosvascular bundle.

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) remain the leading cause of death worldwide, and the most common form is coronary artery disease (CAD). Treatment options include coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG) or percutaneous heart intervention (PCI), but both have drawbacks. Bare metal stents (BMS) are commonly used to treat CAD; however, they lead to restenosis.

Stent underexpansion (SU) and aorto-ostial lesions (AOL) are challenging conditions commonly faced during clinical practice in the setting of percutaneous coronary interventions. Compared to other interventional settings, both SU and AOL are associated with an increased risk of immediate and late events following percutaneous coronary intervention. Several specific strategies including the systematic use of intracoronary imaging and dedicated techniques for lesions' preparation and calcium debulking have been described.

Cardiac aging constitutes a significant risk factor for cardiovascular diseases prevalent among the elderly population. Urgent attention is required to prioritize preventive and management strategies for age-related cardiovascular conditions to safeguard the well-being of elderly individuals. In response to this critical challenge, the Aging Biomarker Consortium (ABC) of China has formulated an expert consensus on cardiac aging biomarkers.
