Background: Current therapeutic strategies on patients with lymphomas remains limited. Previously we found the suppressive effect of (OPE) on hepatocarcinoma. In present study, the effect of OPE on lymphoma and were investigated.
Methods: CCK-8 assay was applied to detect the effect of OPE on cell proliferation. Flow cytometry was used to analyze the effect of OPE on cell cycle distribution and apoptosis. Xenograft mouse model was conducted to determine the anti-tumor activity of OPE. TNUEL assay was performed to detect the apoptosis in tumor tissues. Western blot and immuno-histochemistry were used to determine protein expression.
Results: tests indicate that OPE suppressed A20 cell proliferation in a dose- and time-dependent manner. OPE treatment induced cell cycle arrest at S phase and elevated apoptosis in A20 cells. OPE displayed a significant inhibition in tumor growth in a mouse xenograft model. OPE promoted apoptosis of tumor cell in the mouse model Cleaved caspase 3 expression and Bax/Bcl2 ratio were also enhanced. In addition, OPE suppressed A20 cell viability partially by reducing phosphorylation of EGFR.
Conclusions: Our data showed that OPE suppressed the proliferation of lymphoma cells and promoted apoptosis and , which might be partially mediated by inactivating EGFR signaling.

Despite various efforts to optimize the near-infrared (NIR) performance of perylene diimide (PDI) derivatives for bio-imaging, convenient and efficient strategies to amplify the fluorescence of PDI derivatives in biological environment and the intrinsic mechanism studies are still lacking. Herein, we propose an alkyl-doping strategy to amplify the fluorescence of PDI derivative-based nanoparticles for improved NIR fluorescence imaging. The developed PDI derivative, OPE-PDI, shows much brighter in n-Hexane (HE) compared with that in other organic media, and the excited state dynamics investigation experimentally elucidates the solvent effect-induced suppression of intermolecular energy transfer and intramolecular nonradiative decay as the underlying mechanism for the fluorescence improvement.

The 3C-like protease (3CL), known as the main protease of SARS-COV, plays a vital role in the viral replication cycle and is a critical target for the development of SARS inhibitor. Comparative sequence analysis has shown that the 3CL of two coronaviruses, SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV, show high structural similarity, and several common features are shared among the substrates of 3CL in different coronaviruses. The goal of this study is the development of validated QSAR models by CORAL software and Monte Carlo optimization to predict the inhibitory activity of 81 isatin and indole-based compounds against SARS CoV 3CL.

High density phase change memory array requires both minimized critical dimension (CD) and maximized process window for the phase change material layer. High in-wafer uniformity of the nanoscale patterning of chalcogenides material is challenging given the optical proximity effect (OPE) in the lithography process and the micro-loading effect in the etching process. In this study, we demonstrate an approach to fabricate high density phase change material arrays with half-pitch down to around 70 nm by the co-optimization of lithography and plasma etching process.
