In this work, we successfully prepared four POM-based organic-inorganic hybrids, namely, [(CHN)(CHN)][PMoO] (1), [(CHN)(CHN)][PMoO] (2), [(CHN)][PMoO]·4HO (3), and [(CHN)][PMoO] (4) (where CHN = pyridine, CHN = pyrazine, CHN = 2,7-diamino-1,3,4,6,8,9-hexaazaspiro[4.4] nonane, and CHN = 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole), using a hydrothermal method. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibited a lamellar three-dimensional structure.

Background: Within the context of increasing transparency around public contributions, a framework for reporting and analysing public contributions to research and development (R&D) was previously developed and is piloted here using the example of antibiotics. The aim of this work is to check whether the category system is feasible, to revise and adjust the granularity of the category system where necessary, and to expand the range of sources for detailed analyses.
Methods: All antimicrobial medicinal products in development, discontinued and approved in the last 10 years were identified in the literature.

Laboratory automation requires reliable and precise handling of microplates, but existing robotic systems often struggle to achieve this, particularly when navigating around the dynamic and variable nature of laboratory environments. This work introduces a novel method integrating simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), computer vision, and tactile feedback for the precise and autonomous placement of microplates. Implemented on a bi-manual mobile robot, the method achieves fine-positioning accuracies of 1.

Nature plays a crucial role in providing ecosystem services (ESs) essential for human wellbeing and biodiversity conservation in rural areas. However, existing paradigms often lack an integrative approach towards rural livelihoods and wellbeing, highlighting the need for a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between human wellbeing (HWB) and ESs. The area around the Greater Limpopo Transfrontier Conservation Area (GLTFCA) offers such ESs to indigenous people who rely heavily on these natural resources.

This article analyzes and compares three methodologies for identifying suitable regions for solar hydrogen production using photovoltaic panels: AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), FAHP (Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process), and MC-FAHP (Monte Carlo FAHP), integrated with GIS (Geographic Information Systems). The study employs ten criteria across technical (Global Horizontal Irradiance, temperature, slope, elevation, orientation), economic (distance from transportation and electrical networks), and social (population density, proximity to residential areas) factors. Environmental and exclusion criteria define restrictive zones.
