We present a case of a 65-year-old male with a biopsy proven subcutaneous capillary haemangioma identified on imaging for evaluation of further metastatic spread of prostatic carcinoma due to a rise in his prostate-specific antigen biochemistry. He was receiving salvage radiation therapy for his known isolated nodal disease, four years after prostatectomy. An intensely avid prostate-specific membrane antigen positron emission tomography-computed tomography lesion in the left paramedian back at the level of L1 was noted on his scan. A core biopsy revealed a dermal haemangioma with no evidence of metastatic prostatic carcinoma. To our knowledge, only one other incidental case of prostate-specific membrane antigen avid subcutaneous capillary haemangioma has been described in the literature. Whilst uncommon, incidental findings of prostate-specific membrane antigen PET avid dermal lesions are pathognomonic for haemangiomas and can be treated as "no touch" lesions with watchful observation.

Chronic non-healing wounds are a common complication of diabetes, marked by impaired angiogenesis. This study explores how exosomes (Exo-miR-1248) from miR-1248-overexpressing adipose-derived stem cells enhance diabetic wound healing by modulating endothelial cell function. Adipose-derived stem cells were transfected with a lentivirus carrying miR-1248 to produce Exo-miR-1248, isolated via differential centrifugation.

Despite significant progress in skin wound healing, it is still a challenge to construct multifunctional bioactive dressings based on a highly aligned protein fiber coated hydrogel matrix for antifibrosis skin wound regeneration that is indistinguishable to native skin. In this study, a "dual-wheel-driven" strategy is adopted to modify the surface of methacrylated gelatin (GelMA) hydrogel with highly aligned magnetic nanocomposites-protein fiber assemblies (MPF) consisting of photothermal responsive antibacteria superparamagnetic nanocomposites-fibrinogen (Fg) complexes as the building blocks. Whole-phase healing properties of the modified hydrogel dressing, GelMA-MPF (GMPF), stem from the integration of Fg protein with RGD peptide activity decorated on the surface of the antibacterial magnetic nanoactuator, facilitating facile and reproducible dressing preparation by self-assembly and involving biochemical, morphological, and biophysical cues.

Recently, tumors with other kinase fusion genes were reported to exhibit similar morphologies. Herein, we discuss an adult-onset soft tissue tumor with similar histologic patterns as kinase gene fusion-related tumors but with BRAF and NRAS mutations.

Purpose Of Review: To provide an update on diabetes management during labour and delivery in women with type 1 diabetes with focus on appropriate insulin administration, carbohydrate supply and use of diabetes technology to support safe delivery and neonatal well-being.
Recent Findings: During active labour and elective cesarean section capillary blood glucose monitoring or continuous glucose monitoring at least hourly is recommended. Infusion with isotonic (5%) glucose can be given with adjustable infusion rate to address maternal carbohydrate requirements and to prevent maternal hypoglycemia.

Background: Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) is a leading cause of blindness in infants, affecting 32% of hospitalized preterm infants. Oxidative stress, a primary pathogenic factor in ROP, triggers abnormal neovascularization of retinal vessels. Lutein, an antioxidant and the main component of macular pigment, is found in low levels in preterm infants and may help ameliorate ROP.
