In this paper, novel reduced graphene oxide (rGO) composites (DAPrGOs) modified by diaminopyrene (DAP) were successfully synthesized a facile solvothermal reaction method and used for supercapacitors. Compared with the pristine rGO, the DAPrGO1 electrode showed distinctly better performance (397.63 F g 80.29 F g of pristine rGO at 0.5 A g) with small charge transfer resistance. When a symmetric device was fabricated using DAPrGO1 as the active material, it also exhibited a high capacitance of 82.70 F g at 0.5 A g with an energy density of 25.84 W h kg at a power density of 375 W kg, and even offered a high power density of 7500 W kg (18.71 W h kg) at 10 A g. Moreover, the device possessed good electrochemical stability up to 20 000 cycles, implying promising applications in energy storage fields.

Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) is a broad-spectrum biomarker, and its accurate detection and analysis is important for early clinical diagnosis and treatment. This study aimed to develop a highly sensitive and selective sandwich-type immunosensor based on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) for the accurate detection of CEA. A novel composite material, gold nanoparticle/reduced-graphene oxide/graphitic carbon nitride (AuNPs/rGO/g-CN), was synthesized with excellent electrical conductivity and a large specific surface area to immobilize biological probes.

Magic-angle twisted bilayer graphene (TBLG) has emerged as a versatile platform to explore correlated electron phases driven primarily by low-energy flat bands in moiré superlattices. While techniques for controlling the twist angle between graphene layers have spurred rapid experimental progress, understanding the effects of doping inhomogeneity on electronic transport in correlated electron systems remains challenging. In this work, we investigate the interplay of confinement and doping inhomogeneity on the electrical transport properties of TBLG by leveraging device dimensions and twist angles.

Graphene quantum dots (GQDs) functionalized with - cysteine ( -GQDs) have shown promise in inhibiting tau aggregation and transmission π-π stacking and electrostatic interactions with tau proteins. However, the non-specific binding of GQDs to various proteins in the physiological environment, such as serum albumin, limits their clinical translation.

This study investigated the antimicrobial efficacy of graphene, titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2NPs), and calcium oxide nanoparticles (CaONPs) against various microorganisms in dairy wastewater. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of graphene was determined to be 41.66 mg/L for Escherichia coli and 33.

The trend towards miniaturization of electronics and increasing transistor density in semiconductors requires more efficient cooling solutions. Vapor chambers are well established passive cooling devices that are used in a wide variety of electronics. Commercial vapor chambers are often made of high-density metals such as copper which can be a downside in lightweight applications such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
