Damage of fallopian tube, endometriosis, fibroid uterus, adenomysis and polycystic ovary syndrome are the major pelvic pathology that causes subfertility. Although there are many diagnostic tests available, the clinical presentation of each patient can usually be linked to specific and efficient testing strategies. Transvaginal sonographic (TVS) imaging is an effective, easy to use, safe and readily available noninvasive means to evaluate fertility potential.

Background/aim: Cesarean section (CS) is a widely performed operation worldwide but data about uterine closure are lacking. We aimed to evaluate scar niches and compare single-layer and double-layer uterine closure at 6 months following CS.
Materials And Methods: This prospective randomized trial assessed 56 women undergoing single- or double-layer uterine closure.

Introduction: Numerous anatomical theories have been developed to explain women stress urinary incontinence (SUI) and improve its management. The transperineal ultrasound is an efficient and non-invasive exam that perfectly studies the bladder neck movement and the urethral anatomy. The measurement of the static portion of the distal urethral length, considered as the functional urethral length (FUL), and of the posterior urethral closure angle (PUCA) have not been studied before and could be of interest.

Ultrasound (US) imaging is an essential diagnostic technique in prenatal care, enabling enhanced surveillance of fetal growth and development. Fetal ultrasonography standard planes are crucial for evaluating fetal development parameters and detecting abnormalities. Real-time imaging, low cost, non-invasiveness, and accessibility make US imaging indispensable in clinical practice.

Background: Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is responsible for over 90 % of median nerve neuropathies. Though a clinical diagnosis, evaluation of nerve conduction via electrodiagnostic studies (EDX) and median nerve cross sectional area (CSA) through sonographic imaging provides supporting evidence and insight into disease severity. The advent of handheld ultrasound devices offers a portable, cost-effective and non-invasive method for median nerve assessment, yet its accuracy compared to traditional cart-based ultrasound has not been assessed in this setting.
