Background: Tracheal, bronchial, and lung cancers (TBL cancers) pose a significant global health challenge, with rising incidence and mortality rates, particularly in China. Studies from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD), 2021, can guide screening and prevention strategies for TBL cancer. This study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the burden of TBL cancers in China compared to global data.

The preparation and modification of porous electrodes are an important component of the new generation electrochemical oxidation technology. Rapid preparation of porous electrodes can be easily achieved by synchronous oxygen bubble electrodeposition. However, according to the reaction mechanism of lead dioxide anodic electrodeposition, there is bound to be a competitive reaction of adsorbed hydroxyl radicals in the oxygen bubble template method, which means that synchronous OER impacts both the surface morphology and potentially the crystalline structure of the metal oxides.

Rapid population growth and a corresponding increase in the demand for animal-derived proteins have led to food supply challenges and the need for alternative and sustainable meat production methods. Therefore, this study explored the importance of cell engineering technology-based three-dimensional bioprinting and bioinks, which play key roles in cultured meat production. In cultured meat production, bioinks have a significant effect on cell growth, differentiation, and mechanical stability.

Lemierre's syndrome is a rare and potentially life-threatening complication of head and neck infections, such as bacterial pharyngitis or tonsillitis. It is characterized by the extension of infection into the lateral pharyngeal spaces, leading to subsequent septic thrombophlebitis of the internal jugular vein(s). Although relatively uncommon since the advent of appropriate antibiotic therapy, the incidence of Lemierre's syndrome has increased in the past 15 years, especially among young, healthy adults.

Background: South Korea has witnessed a rapid increase in health expenditure, reaching USD 135 billion in 2021 and accounting for 9.3% of its GDP, surpassing the OECD average. Despite achieving universal health coverage, significant gaps remain in service coverage, leading to high out-of-pocket (OOP) expenses that expose households to financial burdens.
