The level of antibodies to the ribosomes, polysaccharide A and peptidoglycan of group A streptococcus in the blood of patients with primary, secondary, and often relapsing erysipelas was studied by means of the enzyme immunoassay with the use of the sandwich techniques. For control, the sera of healthy donors were used. In the sera obtained from all groups of erysipelas patients a significant rise in the levels of antibodies to ribosomes and peptidoglycan in comparison with the controls was revealed. An increase in the level of antibodies to polysaccharide A was revealed only in patients with frequently relapsing and secondary erysipelas. Depending on the clinical form and the duration of the disease, polysaccharide A was detected in 32-51.9% of erysipelas patients and protein-ribosomal antigen was detected in 28.6-51.9% of such patients.

Effective management of COVID-19 requires clinical tools to treat the disease in addition to preventive vaccines. Several recombinant mAbs and their cocktails have been developed to treat COVID-19 but these have limitations. Here, we evaluate small ankyrin repeat proteins called Ankyrons that were generated to bind with high affinity to the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is a haemorrhagic disorder with a complex pathogenesis, wherein autoreactive B-cell-mediated platelet destruction plays a crucial role. Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) is widely expressed and essential for immune cells. Several BTK inhibitors have been used clinically to treat haematological malignancies, while few studies are focusing on the regulatory role of BTK in ITP.

Objectives: The study aimed to investigate the possible effects of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on autoantibodies.
Patients And Methods: Samples of 89,108 individuals (29,033 males, 60,075 females; median: 36 years; range, 0 to 96 years) who underwent autoimmune testing between January 2017 and May 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. The prepandemic period was defined as May 1, 2017, to March 20, 2020, while the pandemic period was defined as March 20, 2020, to May 31, 2022.

Objectives: To investigate the clinical characteristics of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) with positive anti-ribosomal P protein antibodies and the associated risk factors in a larger sample size.
Methods: A single-center, retrospective study was conducted. Based on the medical records of in-patients from June 2009 to December 2022, patients with SLE were divided into anti-ribosomal P protein antibody-positive and negative groups according to a 1:3 gender and age match.

Background: The response of the microbiota to weaning plays a crucial role in shaping long-term immunity and overall lifelong health. The gut and milk microbiota of mothers exert a profound influence on the microbiota and health of their offspring. Although Shenling Baizhu powder (SBP) has demonstrated efficacy in alleviating weaning stress-induced diarrhea in suckling piglets, the underlying mechanism of this effect remains unknown.
