Eight new alkaloids, which are four new tetrahydroprotoberberine alkaloids, stephapierrines A-D (1-4), and four new aporphine alkaloids, stephapierrines E-H (5-8), together with three new naturally occurring alkaloids (9-11) and thirty-four known alkaloids (12-45) were isolated from the tubers of Diels. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis and physical properties. The structures of the known compounds were characterized by comparison of their spectroscopic data with those previously reported. Compound 42 exhibited the strongest acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory activity, which was more active than galanthamine, the reference drug. Compound 23 showed the highest butyrylcholinesterase (BuChE) inhibitory activity, which was also more active than galanthamine. Molecular docking studies are in good agreement with the experimental results.

Introduction: In Poland, not all forms of device-aided therapies for advanced Parkinson's Disease (APD) are currently available.
Material And Methods: We aimed to produce a consensus recommendation from Polish movement disorders experts after discussing gaps in the APD care pathway in Poland.
Results: Rescue therapy with apomorphine (APO) PEN injection and levodopa-entacapone-carbidopa intestinal gel infusion are not included in Poland's Specialist Therapeutic Programme, and are thus not reimbursed.

Background: Lotus leaf and its extracts have been reported to exert various beneficial effects; however, their anti-obesity mechanisms remain relatively unclear. Therefore, we investigated the mechanism by which lotus leaf regulates obesity using network pharmacology, molecular docking, and animal experimentation.
Methods: Network pharmacology was used to identify potential targets and pathways through which lotus leaf regulates obesity.
Cholera is a dreadful disease. The scourge of this deadly disease is still evident in the developing world. Though several therapeutic strategies are in practice to combat and contain the disease, there is still a need for new drugs to control the disease safely and effectively.

The interaction between the receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB ligand (RANKL) and its receptor RANK is known to regulate osteoclastogenesis in bone remodelling and has become an important therapeutic target for the treatment of osteoporosis. Stephanine (SA), an isoquinoline aporphine-type alkaloid isolated from Stephania plants, possesses excellent anti-inflammatory effects and can be used for rheumatoid arthritis treatment. However, its specific role in osteoclastogenesis and osteoporosis remains unknown.
