Background: Sheep coccidiosis is an infectious parasitic disease that primarily causes diarrhea and growth retardation in young animals, significantly hindering the development of the sheep breeding industry. Cereal grains and animal feeds are frequently contaminated with mycotoxins worldwide, with aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) being the most common form. AFB1 poses a serious threat to gastrointestinal health upon ingestion and affects the function of parenteral organs, thus endangering livestock health.

While available for decades, the use of bupropion has increased in recent years. To provide an updated review on the use of bupropion, this article aimed to describe bupropion prescription details, potential indication, and treatment duration in children, young adults, and adults starting bupropion treatment. Individuals aged 6-64 newly initiating bupropion hydrochloride treatment were identified from commercial claims data (MarketScan, 1/1/2016-12/31/2022).

This study investigated the etiology, clinical features, and management of acute hydrogen sulfide (HS) poisoning in Zhoushan. A retrospective analysis was conducted on 10 patients admitted to our hospital between August and September 2023 due to two incidents of acute HS poisoning. The first incident involved fishermen working in a fishing cabin (6 patients), while the second involved sanitation workers during sewer maintenance (4 patients).

The Solanaceae plant family (), such as capsicum, eggplant, potato, and tomato, is made up of common plants consumed by humans. Despite having medicinal benefits, these plants can produce toxic alkaloid compounds. We report 2 cases of uncommon poisoning after consuming the berries as a meal.

Objectives: This study aimed to analyse the epidemiological patterns of paediatric snake bites in Sri Lanka over a 4-year period (2020-2024).
Methods: A multi-centre, retrospective observational study was conducted from June 2020 to June 2024 across nine governmental hospitals in seven provinces of Sri Lanka. Data were collected based on 757 children presenting with snake bites.
