A 34 years old male, labourer by occupation was brought to our trauma centre in an inebriated state with a history of fall from a height of approximately 10 feet. He complained of pain in the right elbow. A complete examination of the affected upper limb revealed an ipsilateral anterior shoulder dislocation and a posterior elbow dislocation with no other concomitant injuries. Both the dislocations were reduced conservatively and the patient was successfully managed. The patient is absolutely fine now, 6 months post his dislocation and has resumed back to his work. This case has been presented to highlight the rare and unusual nature of the injury, since ipsilateral dislocation of shoulder and elbow occur infrequently.

The ruptured sinus of Valsalva aneurysm (RSOV), a rare but well-recognized clinical entity, is invariably a form of left-to-right shunt due to rupture into right-sided chambers. It causes profound hemodynamic effects, especially when the rupture is acute. Like most other left-to-right shunts, it was only a matter of time before this rare defect also became amenable to transcatheter closure (TCC).

Purpose: To assess the treatment outcomes of vascular plug-assisted retrograde transvenous obliteration (PARTO) for gastric varices based on hemodynamic changes observed in pre- and post-procedural CT scans.
Methods: This single-center study included 43 patients with gastric varices who underwent PARTO between June 2017 and December 2023. Peri-procedural CT and endoscopic findings were retrospectively reviewed to analyze the afferent and draining veins of gastric varices, identify any residual varices or afferent veins after treatment, assess the technical and clinical successes, and determine statistically significant variables associated with clinical success.

This case describes a previously unreported complication of maxillary canine root canal therapy in a cat. A 5-year-old Russian Blue cat was presented with a complicated crown fracture (pulp exposure) of its left maxillary canine tooth (204). To salvage the tooth, root canal therapy was initiated but not completed due to hemorrhage within the canal.

Unlabelled: Persistent sciatic artery (PSA) is a rare congenital anomaly that may involve aneurysmal formations. During endovascular treatment for PSA aneurysm (PSAA) occlusion, guidewire crossing can be challenging due to complex anatomy. We report successful endovascular intervention for PSAA occlusion using the "direct tip injection in occlusive lesions (DIOL)" fashion, in which hydraulic pressure with contrast facilitates guidewire crossing by visualizing the vessel course and expanding the microchannel and vessel lumen.

Objective: To analyze the hemodynamic changes in different configurations of left subclavian artery (LSA) stent grafts after LSA endovascular reconstruction in thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR).
Methods: For numerical simulation, one 3D thoracic aortic geometry model with an LSA stent graft retrograde curved orientation was reconstructed from post-TEVAR computed tomography angiography images, and four potential LSA graft configurations were modified and reconstructed: three straight (0, 2 and 10 mm aortic extension) and one anterograde configuration. The blood perfusion of the LSA, flow field, hemodynamic wall parameters and vortex evolution process visualized by the Liutex method were analyzed.
