Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) is a selectively available therapeutic option, generally available in a large-size referral healthcare system. In a single-center experience of the use of venovenous ECMO for COVID-19 ARDS in a medium-size healthcare system during the pandemic, West et al. in their study have convincingly demonstrated that ECMO can become a broadly available therapeutic option without compromising quality.

Recent Findings: Safe and effective mobilization of patients with cardiogenic shock receiving tMCS can be accomplished.

The objective of this study was to describe the use of ECMO and the associated outcomes in patients with PAIVS. Coronary vasospasm involves constriction of the coronary arteries and has been described after manipulation of the coronary arteries (ie, after stenting or bypass grafting). This report details the case of a 57-year-old man who presented with an endoleak after thoracic endovascular aortic repair. He underwent a frozen elephant trunk procedure and postoperatively had diffuse coronary vasospasm, demonstrated on pre- and post-vasospasm cardiac catheterization.
